The appointee is expected to carry out general administrative duties for the Division of Continuing and Professional Education. Major duties include: (a) assisting in the day-to-day operation of the programmes, including but not limited to class scheduling, examination arrangement, student record updating, and organisation of student activities; (b) liaising with internal and external parties (including staff, students and external bodies) and handling enquiries and complaints; (c) compiling information and figures and maintaining database / file records; and (d) providing supports to ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • i) Holder of Higher Diploma or Associate Degree with preferably 2 years of related experience; OR (ii) with at least 5 passes in HKCEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) and Chinese Language (at least Level 2 from 2007), or at least 5 subjects attaining Level 2 in HKDSE including English Language and Chinese Language with more work experience;
  • Holder of Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of work experience will also be considered;
  • Effective interpersonal and multi-tasking skills;
  • Able to work under tight schedule;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (English and Chinese) and Excel.

 

The initial appointment for the above post will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

 

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
