Part-Time Fieldwork Supervisors For Full-Time Associate Degree Programme
Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), offering full-time Sub-degree and Undergraduate (UG) Honours Degree Programmes at the HKBU Shatin Shek Mun campuses. It is a major education providing unit of the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the Faculties/Schools of HKBU. CIE currently enrolls about 4,000 students and is committed to sustaining the University’s mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage. English is used as the medium of instruction at the College. Applications are now invited for the following part-time positions for the Second Semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.
Part-time Fieldwork Supervisors (Ref. No.: PRSCEP0032/24-25)
Associate of Arts (Applied Social Service)
The general role of supervisors is to (a) supervise students (including on-site supervision) regarding their fieldwork placements in social service settings; (b) mark student assignments; and (c) keep good connection with the social service agencies.
Medium of Instruction: Cantonese (supplemented with English)
Requirements
- Applicants should possess at least a Master’s degree in relevant discipline.
- Applicants should also possess professional qualification of Registered Social Worker (RSW) with at least three years of post-degree related professional practice experience.
- Experience in teaching or fieldwork supervision is preferred.
