Part-Time Lecturers For Full-Time Sub-degree And Undergraduate Degree Programmes

Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), offering full-time Sub-degree and Undergraduate (UG) Honours Degree Programmes at the HKBU Shatin Shek Mun campuses. It is a major education providing unit of the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the Faculties/Schools of HKBU. CIE alone currently enrolls about 4,000 students and is committed to sustaining the University’s mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage. English is used as the medium of instruction at the College. Applicants should possess at least a Master’s degree in relevant discipline and have substantial teaching experience preferably at tertiary level. For courses marked with #, applicants with a Bachelor’s degree AND substantial working experience in relevant discipline will also be considered.  Competence in using English (or Cantonese for the subject marked with *) as the medium of instruction is required.

[Notes]:

1. Applicants with relevant work experience in business development, community development, or sustainable practices, particularly in a local context is preferred. Prior experience in teaching or training related to social design, sustainability, or community engagement would be an advantage.
2. Bachelor’s degree holders with at least 5 years working experience in senior level in prestigious advertising agencies or Master’s degree holders with at least 2 years working experience in prestigious advertising agencies is preferred.
3. Knowledge of data visualization tool such as Tableau is required.
4. Knowledge in radio or online broadcasting required.
5. Those who have responded to the advertisement posted in October 2024 need not re-apply.
