The appointee will be responsible for providing operational and administrative assistance to the academic/teaching-related matters at the College of International Education (CIE) at the Shatin Shek Mun Campus. Major duties are composed of but not limited to: a) providing general clerical and secretarial support; b) providing administrative assistance to the programme operation, such as venue and material arrangement of learning activities; c) providing on-site and logistic support to student development activities, outreach activities, and the College’s functions; and d) running and coordinating programme activities, including internship work, site visit, and study tour.
Minimum Requirements:
- (i) Holder of Associate Degree / Higher Diploma with at least one year of work experience; OR (ii) Possession of HKCEE 5 passes including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) and Chinese Language (at least Level 2 from 2007), or at least 5 subjects attaining Level 2 in HKDSE including English Language and Chinese Language, or Yi Jin graduates, with more work experience; holder of Bachelor's degree preferred;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua);
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently; and
- Proficiency in computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing).
The initial appointment for the above post will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
