Part-Time Lecturers For Full-Time Sub-degree And Undergraduate Degree Programmes

 

Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), offering full-time Sub-degree and Undergraduate (UG) Honours Degree Programmes at the HKBU Shatin Shek Mun campuses. It is a major education providing unit of the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the Faculties/Schools of HKBU. CIE currently enrolls about 3,500 students and is committed to sustaining the University’s mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage. English is used as the medium of instruction at the College. Applications are now invited for the part-time lecturer position for the following course areas /subjects for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Applicants should possess at least a Master’s degree in relevant discipline and have substantial teaching experience preferably at tertiary level. Competence in using English (or Chinese for the subject marked with *) as the medium of instruction is required.

 

 

[Notes]:

* Applicant should be able to understand and speak Cantonese.

# Applicant with a Bachelor’s degree AND substantial working experience in relevant discipline will also be considered.

  1. Knowledge in both theory and practical works, and a strong network in HK art community preferred.
  2. Knowledge in both scriptwriting and production, with extensive experience of variety shows within the TV industry preferred.
  3. Knowledge in both theory and production, with significant experience of non-fiction filmmaking preferred.
  4. Knowledge in PR and journalistic writing required; working experience in social service marketing preferred.
  5. Knowledge and experience in radio or online broadcasting required.
  6. Knowledge in explainer video production, digital ads and infographics required.
  7. Knowledge in speculative design and working experience in game design or animation preferred.
