SCE Best Student Interns Ceremony

SCE Best Student Interns Ceremony

The first SCE Best Student Interns Ceremony, organised by the Careers and Employability Centre (CEC), was successfully held on the evening of 4 March 2021. Over 60 guests, staff and awardees joined to share this precious moment. The fifty awardees of this year's Best Student Intern Award, from various academic programmes, gained a lot from their work-integrated learning (WIL) experience.  A mini-video was prepared to showcase their achievements.

Although the Ceremony was held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the participants enjoyed the evening.  It was our honor to have Professor Ronald Chung, Dean of School of Continuing Education, to officiate the Ceremony.  While congratulating the awardees, he also encouraged students to explore the real working world through WIL experience, and to understand the collaborative effort in a team.

In today's rapid changing world, work-integrated learning is vital. SCE is committed to soliciting relevant learning opportunities. The establishment of the CEC can further scale up the employer network and enhance students' pre-employment and workplace skills. The achievements of today’s awardees are the inspirations to the fellow peers and encourage them to actively participate in work-integrated learning experience for career preparation and development.
